5Multi Function Trainer That's Fun To Boot  Jan 17, 2009 By K A Goode
For those of you who, like me, were curious about the difference between the Firm's Wave and the T-Bow; here are my thoughts;

Side by Side Comparison
Dimensions:

T-Bow

27.5"L x 19"W x 6"H

The Wave

28"L x 14"W x 7"H

Customer Service:

I ordered both the Wave and the T-Bow at the same time. In terms of responsiveness, the makers of T-Bow, Swiss TTP, were tremendously responsive and expedient in sending me the product. In addition to their responsiveness and expediency, they were quite friendly when I called with a question. I received the item in two business days after the order. The Wave was received 8 days after ordered.

Product Information:

The T-Bow, made of a single piece of high performance plastic, has a Max Weight rating of 600 Lbs, has six holes for use with fitness bands, a yoga mat like spongy surface on the top for body and foot comfort when lying or stepping on the T-Bow with without shoes. Though the latter is not the intended use, it also adds comfort when using the T-Bow seated, lying or other such usage option.

The Wave with a Max Weight Rate usage of 275lbs does not have a similar comfortable surface this could result in injury if not used as stated in the directions, with rubber soled shoes.

When stepping on the T-Bow, the base is solid and stable and because it was constructed as a single component it does not make noise, whereas, The Wave is constructed from two pieces of plastic and does make noise, quite annoyingly so I might add.

The curved side of the T-Bow is my favorite. I really find it quite fun to just balance on the curve and mimic walking in both fast and slow motions. This can be done without the addition of videos; to me a bonus. Having said all that I will also say, the exercises that can be performed on the T-Bow can be performed on the Wave as well. It is all a matter of preference. Swiss quality has sold me on this and all of the other Swiss made products I love and own.
What won the T-Bow as the better product, for me, is the T-Bow's construction and dimensions. I feel that I have obtained a piece of equipment that would be worthy of its cost now and certainly over time and the T-Bow seems like it will do that, whereas, the Wave seems likely to have a shorter life span as a result of its materials and associated construction.
All in all, though the Wave has a slightly higher rise than the T-Bow, the wider base width and forgiving surface makes the T-Bow good for use as a weight bench, a strength training station, a step, a walker and any other training purpose yet to be considered.

5T-Bow Much Better Then The Wave  Mar 16, 2009 By Douglas Beckling "Doug44"
I bought both the Wave and the T-Bow. Hands down the T-Bow is so much better and it will hold up to 600 lbs. This thing is so strong. This is the one you want to buy.
It is a bit wider and that helps alot. It's alot of fun too. It really is worth the money. Doug in Calif.....

3t-bow rating  Mar 15, 2009 By Therese "Therese"
A pretty good work out.
I like rocking back and forth on the t-bow. It really does work your legs. I was afraid it would hurt my knees since I have knee problems, but no, my knees handled it well.
I didn't care too much for the dvd. It seemed monotonous...the same exercises in repetitions that a child would get bored with...yawn...come on, come up with some variety! And the same segments are repeated throughout the dvd. I think for as much as you have to pay, this could have been a waaaay better dvd. It was a little difficult to understand her since she speaks English and German throughout the video, but if you follow the moves, they are so easy you can't mess up.
I suggest using FIRM videos or dvds....you get significant results in a short time with them and you aren't bored!

I love the T-bow! It offers a great cardio workout and I use it to stretch my back for lower back problems. Very sturdy and very easy to use.
